A Disney bus driver involved in last week's crash has been cited for careless driving. On March 23, a Disney bus carrying seven passengers crashed into the back of a parked Mears Transportation bus in front of Epcot. The driver, Jean Valentin, was sent to the hospital, along with the seven passengers. According to WESH News, Valentin was pinned under the steering wheel and had to be removed by rescue workers.

According to investigators, the Mears bus driver contributed to the accident as well. He had stopped the bus in a through lane to perform a safety check after hearing a strange noise. Valentin did not see the parked bus, even though passengers said they had seen that the bus was stopped.

Valentin has been placed on leave while the crash is under investigation.
